Archery Lesson Plan 5 - Friday


  • 1 bow per person
  • 6 arrows per person
  • 1 target per 2 – 4 people
  • Cones to mark teaching area
  • 6 – 7 Jump Ropes per 30 students
  • Circuit Training Signs & cones



The student will:

  1. Participate in the Rooster Hop Drill demonstrating hopping skills, quickness, agility, and following the instructions described by the instructor.
  2. Participate in Circuit Training to improve aerobic endurance, strength, endurance, and flexibility during the Fitness section of class.
  3. Demonstrate bracing the bow, stance, anchor hold, drawing, nocking the arrow, aiming, releasing and after hold as demonstrated by the instructor.
  4. Participate in the Team Archery game demonstrating knowledge of safety rules, cooperation, and following the rules established by the instructor.
  5. Participate in Team Paper Scissors Rock as presented by the instructor during the closing portion of class.
