Week #1: Basketball Lesson Plan 1 - Monday


  • Basketball Courts
  • Music for Rope Jumping
  • 1 Basketball per student
  • 1 Individual Jump Rope per student



The student will:

  1. Demonstrate cooperation and agility while participating in Move and Change Direction during the Introductory phase of class.
  2. Participate in the Rope Jumping fitness activity to improve agility, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance.
  3. Demonstrate ball handling skills presented by the instructor during the Lesson Focus of class.
  4. Participate in Triangle Plus One Tag demonstrating cooperative and agility skills during the game portion of class and following the instructions established by the instructor.
