Week #2: Rhythmic Gymnastics Lesson Plan 9 - Thursday


  • Hoops, cones, rope, ladder, jumping boxes, 2X4 balance beam for fitness
  • Ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes for whole class
  • Music for Rhythmic Gymnastics routines
  • Tambourine


The student will:

  1. Participate in the European Rhythmic Running demonstrating balance, creativity, rhythmic awareness and changes in direction, and cooperative skills.
  2. Participate in Fitness Challenge Course to improve strength, endurance, coordination, and aerobic capacities.
  3. Demonstrate rope, ribbon, ball, and hoop swinging, circling, figure-eights, and Schottische step skills using form demonstrated by the instructor and create a routine using the apparatus of her choice.
