Week #2: Soccer Lesson Plan 7 - Tuesday

EQUIPMENT:

  • Cones to mark off dribbling area
  • Jump rope for every student
  • 1 soccer ball per 2 students
  • 1 flag for each student   
  • Music for Continuity Exercises
  • 1 Hula Hoop per 2 students

OUTCOMES: 

The student will:

  1. Participate in Hoops on the Ground cooperating with classmates and following the instructions given by the teacher.
  2. Participate in Continuity Exercises involving locomotor, strength, and flexibility activities.
  3. Pass the ball with the top of the foot 5 times to a partner.
  4. Demonstrate combining dribbling and passing skills throughout the lesson focus using form demonstrated by instructor.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with teammates during the game Flag Chase during the final portion of class.
