INSTRUCTIONS:
Students use a locomotor movement (run, skip, slide, gallop) to move around. When whistle is blown, students run to a partner and jump in air and give each other a “high five” and then continue moving until whistle is blown again.
TEACHING HINTS:
Scattered formation in area marked off by cones.
Alternate locomotor movements.
INSTRUCTIONS:
16 Runs clockwise
16 Runs counterclockwise
16 Jumps to center
16 Jumps back
8 count lift overhead
8 count lower to toes
4 count lift
4 count lower
Repeat all, but increase difficulty by holding chute overhead on CW run
Release on last lift.
After the aerobic movements above have been learned, stop the music, and insert the exercises below.

Students will be in pairs with a
Demonstrate power obtained by bending legs and jumping, to push the ball high and long.
Use Whistle Mixer to make groups of 3
Assign 3 students to areas on field with cones marked simulating goals.
INSTRUCTIONS:
On signal, students dribble and control their ball throughout the playing area. At the same time, they try and tackle others and drive their ball out of bounds. The players who lose control of their ball must retrieve it. 1 point per ball intercepted and kicked out of boundaries.
TEACHING HINTS:
Each student will have a ball and be inside a coned area.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Discuss heading, goal kicking and defense skills.
