The student will:
Demonstrate proper back-wall return shot as demonstrated by the instructor.
Catch a Frisbee with one or two hands as demonstrated by the instructor.

Introductory Activity (2-3 Minutes)
Running High Five’s
Students use a locomotor movement (run, skip, slide, gallop) to move around. When whistle is blown, students run to a partner and jump in air and give each other a “high five” and then continue moving until whistle is blown again.
Scattered formation in area marked off by cones.
Alternate locomotor movements.
Fitness Development (8-12 Minutes)
Fitness Scavenger Hunt
Ideas for Fitness Hunt Cards:
Run to each corner of the Gym and perform 15 curl-ups at each corner.
Run to the bleachers and perform step-ups.
Carioca to cones set up and touch each cone.
Jog to the tumbling mats and perform stretches listed on the station cards.
Jog to the jump rope station and start rope jumping.
Jog backwards to touch 2 walls.
Jog forwards and touch 4 colored lines on the courts.
Skip to the sit-up, push-up station. Follow station card instructions.
Slide to the jumping jack station.
Skip to the jump rope station.
Use Whistle Mixer to create groups of 5.
Direct students to work as a team to “hunt” for the exercise space/area.
Assign each group a different starting point.
Give each group a “Fitness Hunt” Card.

Direct four students to go to each court and follow task sheet instructions and activities. At the end of class, distribute a handout on the different types of Dead-Ball Hinders.
