INSTRUCTIONS:
Each student faces a partner. One person is the leader and makes a quick movement with the hands, head, legs, or body. The partner tries to be a mirror and perform the exact same movement. The leader must pause briefly between movements. Leader and partner exchange places after 30 seconds.
TEACHING HINTS:
Use a management game to make pairs. Identify first leader/follower. Signal time for leader and follower to change roles after approximately 30-40 seconds.
INSTRUCTIONS:
16 Runs clockwise
16 Runs counterclockwise
16 Jumps to center
16 Jumps back
8 count lift overhead
8 count lower to toes
4 count lift
4 count lower
Repeat all, but increase difficulty by holding chute overhead on CW run
Release on last lift.
After the aerobic movements above have been learned, stop the music, and insert the exercises below.

Use music that has a strong easy to hear rhythm
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rope: Circle the rope on each side of the body while holding both ends of the rope.
Make figure 8 swings: Holding both ends of the rope, or, holding the center of the rope and swinging the ends.
Pendulum swing rope in front of body and jump it.
Run or skip over rope turned forward and backward.
Schottische step over a turning rope.
Jump over a backward turning rope, and then toss the rope into the air. Catch both ends of rope.
Holding the ends and center of the rope, kneel and horizontally circle the rope close to the floor.
Perform a body wrap with the rope.
TEACHING HINTS:
Rope size is determined by standing on the center of the rope with both feet and extending the rope ends to the hands held at the “armpit” level. There should not be handles on the ends of the rope.
Allow students plenty of time to practice these skills.
Hold one hand near midline of body, the other parallel and approximately 12” in front of body.
Direct students to be safe and watch out for others.
Spread students out for safety.
Variation: Stand and circle the rope horizontally overhead.
Hold one end on the hip, wrap the rope around the body with the other hand.

Create partners using “elbow-to-elbow” technique.
Have 1 person kneel. The standing partner gets a Frisbee from perimeter of area and brings to partner.
Player must get 21 points to win and win by 2 points.
